Boost Mobile is getting the mid-range smartphone today for $149.99 sans contract. Sprint is offering the Aquos Crystal via its Easy Pay service with no initial down payment for 24 payments of $10. The carrier will also offer the phone off-contract for $149.99 starting October 21. The Sharp Aquos Crystal offers a 5" 720p panel, Snapdragon 400 with a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a 2,040mAh battery. It does pack a Harmon Kardon-branded sound package with Clari-Fi and LiveStage tech. The phone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box and features an 8MP snapper with LED as well as a 1.2MP camera for selfies. We are yet to learn if Sharp plans to release its latest smartphones to markets outside the US and Japan.
