Famed Muay Thai fighter Buakaw Banchamek faced off French competitor Azize Hlali this past Sunday August 20 in Bangkok. The scheduled for three rounds welterweight bout headlined the inaugural “All Star Fight” event held at Workpoint Entertainment Studio. The televised show produced a nine-fight bill with local and international fighters featured on the card. On Tuesday the promotion revealed a full fight video of Buakaw up against Hlali. The bout ended in the first round when at 2:41 Thai star landed the left hook, dropping his opponent to the canvas. The knockout resembles some of the old fights of Banchamek when he competed in K-1 World Max, similarly scoring knockouts against Japanese Yoshihiro Sato and Hiroki Shishido. As well as the main event, four other bouts presented on the card ended prior the final bell. Mathias Sitsongpeenong defeated Yodwatchara Fairtex via second-round TKO. Sammy Banchamek KO’d Keivan Soleimani in the first. Petchaiyo Banchamek stopped Daniel Brasileiro in the second. Asa Ten Pow KO’d Phanrit Banchamek also in the second.
