PCB Making-Part 2-Photo Resist Method of Etching a Printed Circuit Board HD

09.04.2010
Part 2 in a series of informative how-to videos of my personal experiences with photo resist etching method of making precision printed circuit boards at home While designing and building my first prototype of a BLDC Hub Motor Controller board for my e-bike, I documented the whole process on video from start to finish which you can now watch in HD 720p. In this part I show you you how to layout a board from a schematic using Coreldraw. Might seem a bit boring to some but it is a great way to save time and money. Get that custom look for your mod boards. I generally make all layout to fit 4"x6", 6"x6", 6"x9" and larger presenitized board material available off the shelf such as INJECTORALL PC18P or MG Chemicals 606 (4"x6") or 609 (6"x6") In the next video I will show you how to expose the board to UV light source to transfer image onto coppler clad. Check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dXwRamOBB8M The last part in the series shows the completed controller as well as a few other PC boards made including CNC stepper motor driver and a couple other neat electronic projects I have built to date. ©Copyright 2010 D.C.
