Arduino Coke Can Car Proportional Steering Repair HD

02.10.2017
This is my 2.4GHz Coke Can Car with Arduino proportional control for throttle and steering. Both are driven by a PWM signal, which is generated by a Toshiba TB6612FNG dual channel DC motor driver. Both the transmitter and the receiver are using an Atmega 328P MCU. The Arduino software, the schematic and the Eagle PCB layout can be found on my GitHub. The link is below. Unfortunately its steering is jamming sometimes and does not properly center. After I’ve seen this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbSStMs8fLg I decided to take it apart and to have a look what’s wrong. After the metal shaving inside was removed, it’s now working better than ever before!
