Does OVERCLOCKING your Cpu, HELP your PC Gaming Performance? (3.7GHZ vs 4.5GHZ) HD

So does OVERCLOCKING your cpu actually give you that much of an FPS boost in todays games? Well today I answer that question! This is an experiment with my cpu being at its default turbo boost factory speed of 3.7ghz verus manually overclocking it to 4.5ghz, and seeing how well it will improve your ingame fps. The system I experiment this on was: - i5 2500k (3.7ghz and 4.5ghz) -Zotac GTX 760 Overclocked. -Msi G43 Z77 Motherboard -8gb of DDR3 Ram (1600mhz/CL9) -700W 80+ Bronze Coolmax PSU Fraps was used to record all of the benchmarks, and I took the averages of each game in a certain part of the game so all fps recordings would be accurate and I compared them.
