The depth of field (DOF) is the portion of a scene that appears sharp in the image, In this video tutorial i am going to show you how to render a Z-depth pass in 3ds max, using falloff as a shader , Later on i will also explain how to composite this pass in photoshop to achieve depth of field in your 3d scenes.
