Utopian World - CINEMATIC Animation!!! HD

All effects done within After Effects and Element 3D. Short Tutorial: I downloaded the model of a hot air balloon and imported it into Element 3D. I changed the textures and made some smaller adjustments to make it look more photorealistic. After that I created the mattepainting of the basic environment. To give it more depth, I scattered the mattepainting in Z-Depth. The floating islands are made out of the top of a mountain (as the bottom part) and various islands (to make the top of the floating island). I then cut out some parts of the individual islands and scattered them in Z-Depth as well to give them some volume. Finally, I placed all objects (3D hot air balloon, 2.5D islands, mattepainting, lights, ...) in 3D space, animated a camera and added the cinematic color grading.
