Buena Vista Edible Schoolyard HD

The Buena Vista Edible Schoolyard (BVESY) is a public-private partnership between the Grimm Family Education Foundation and the Panama-Buena Vista Union School District in Bakersfield, California. BVESY is one of two Kern County edible schoolyard programs funded, staffed, and operated entirely by the Foundation; the other is located on the campus of Grimmway Academy in nearby Arvin, CA. The Foundation has received national attention for its accomplishments in edible education, and its Buena Vista Edible Schoolyard program was recently recognized with a Golden Bell Award from the California School Boards Association.
