07.09.2015
In this video you can watch me put together a 486 DOS retro gaming PC, but using modern parts such as a nice ATX case, reliable ATX power supply, modern optical mouse, reliable floppy emulator and quiet and fast Compact Flash cards. I am using the Biostar MB8433-UUD motherboard, an IntelDX4 100 MHz processor, 8 MB of RAM, PCI S3 Trio 64 V+ graphics card, a 2 GB CF card, optical drive, a Sound Blaster 16 and, a world exclusive, the prototype of the DreamBlaster X1 General MIDI wavetable board. ♦Other videos produced by me covering parts shown in this video♦ ATX to AT power adapter converter review with -5V: https://youtu.be/8QXmxdiNWIs GOTEK USB Floppy Emulator Simulator Review Tutorial: https://youtu.be/taFP1J_lZBI ♦Keep in touch with me♦ Retro PC Gaming Facebook Group: https://goo.gl/1c98Nb Twitter: https://twitter.com/philscomputerlb Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/philscomputerlab/ My website: http://www.philscomputerlab.com/
