Diode oscillator-no resistors or capasitors
This is a simple oscillator which does not use any resistors or capasitors.Transistor oscillation is due to a small 4148 diode between the bases of the complimentary darlington. The circuit runs well on AA 1.5V battery and you can use a wide variety of inductors, aircore or ferrite core. I would use a high gain transistor for the npn like a bc550c or bc 548c but it will work with other transistors even mpsa06. Most pnp transistors should work.I used 2n3906 but try what you have.
