A BLOOD FILLED LUNCH: Sok Lek (ซกเล็ก) An Isaan Delicacy | Korat, Thailand HD

The last day in Thailand and what a last day it was! Started off a little differently as I went for a more Vietnamese style breakfast in Thailand to see the similarities and differences. While there were parts that reminded me of Vietnam, I was clearly still in Thailand. Next, up I went for an Isaan delicacy. Sok Lek, a dish made of raw beef and blood. Wow, was it some of the most tender beef I have ever had. So tasty and yummy and I could see why it was a delicacy. No sleepy and another solid dish was the Mam, an Isaan style sausage. A garlic lovers dream sausage. Next, I got some shaved ice to cool off the fire I had going on in my stomach. I didn’t care for the first bowl, but the second bowl really hit the spot. Lastly, cannot come to Korat without trying the Pad Mee Korat. Very similar to Pad Thai, except more savory and a little bit more kick of spice.
