Gra Papers, please była odkryciem roku 2013, przynajmniej jeśli chodzi o tytuły niezależne, a jej ciekawy, zimnowojenny klimat zza wschodniej części Żelaznej kurtyny udało się teraz przenieść do innego medium. Grupa filmowców, we współpracy z twórcą gry Lucasem Popem stworzyła krótkometrażowy film pokazujący ciężki żywot strażnika granicznego w fikcyjnej Arstotzce. Nad filmem pracowali Nikita i Liliya Ordynskiy. Główny bohater jest pracownikiem jednego z fikcyjnych, totalitarnych krajów Bloku Wschodniego. Jego zadaniem jest sprawdzanie dokumentów ludzi próbujących przekroczyć granicę i decydowanie, którzy z nich będą mogli dostąpić tego zaszczytu. Pracę utrudnia mu nie tylko papierkowa robota, ale i własne sumienie. His task is to check documents of people trying to cross the border and decide who will be able to receive this honor. His work is made difficult not only by paperwork, but also by his own conscience.
