The 2022 Nissan Patrol Ti-L (4x4) is a four-wheel drive four-door wagon that was released to the Australian market on 01/12/2021 classified as a Y62 SERIES 5 MY22. The Patrol is regarded as an upper large SUV built in Japan with prices starting at $95,115 before on-road costs. The Patrol is a four-wheel drive 4 door with 7 seats, powered by a 5.6L V8 engine that has 298 kW of power (at 5800 rpm) and 560 Nm of torque (at 4000 rpm) via a Seven-speed Automatic. NISSAN claims the Patrol Ti-L (4x4) uses 14.4L/100km of Premium Unleaded Petrol in the combined city and highway cycle while putting out 334g of CO2. It has a 140L fuel tank, meaning it should be able to travel 972km per full tank. The Patrol measures 1940mm (76.4 inches) in height, 5165mm (203.3 inches) in length, 1995mm (78.5 inches) in width with a 3080mm (121.3 inches) wheelbase that brings about a total of 2746kg (6053.9 lbs) of unladen weight. The Patrol Ti-L (4x4) comes standard with 265/70 R18 front tyres and 265/70 R18 rear tyres. It requires a service every 12 months or 10,000 km, whichever comes first. The 2022 Nissan Patrol Ti-L (4x4) has a 272mm ground clearance with a 3500kg braked and 750kg unbraked towing capacity. It has a final gear ratio of 3.357. Australians wanting the updated Patrol interior with a new infotainment system that other markets enjoy – including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – will be disappointed, as it remains exclusive to left-hand-drive markets There are still two variants of Nissan Patrol to choose from, with Ti kicking off the range at $82,160 before on-road costs. This is an increase of $1000 for 2022, with new models getting a new black grille (pictures of which have not been released) and the updated Nissan emblem, along with a redesigned side vent. The Ti-L keeps the same chrome finish on the grille as the 2021 model, but scores the new logo and side vent. Priced from $95,115 before on-road costs, this flagship variant gets a chilled centre console, driver’s memory seating, a 13-speaker sound system, rear-seat entertainment screens, heated and cooled front seats, and a power tailgate. However, Nissan chose not to bring the updated interior and infotainment – which some left-hand drive markets now have – to Australia. There’s also a hardcore Nissan Patrol Warrior variant in the works, which follows the lead of the Navara Pro-4X Warrior with lifted and retuned suspension, extra underbody protection and off-road oriented rubber, all developed in Australia. Steadfast under the bonnet of the Nissan Patrol has been the 5.6-litre naturally-aspirated ‘VK56’ petrol V8 engine, which makes 298kW and 560Nm without a turbocharger or supercharger in sight. 2022 Nissan Patrol Australian pricing Patrol Ti – $82,160 Patrol Ti-L – $95,115 #SupercarTV #Nissan #Patr
