MAXXI BVLGARI PRIZE: i finalisti 2022 HD

Sono Alessandra Ferrini (Firenze 1984), Silvia Rosi (Scandiano – RE 1992) e Namsal Siedlecki (Greenfield USA 1986) i finalisti della terza edizione del MAXXI BVLGARI PRIZE, il progetto per il sostegno e la promozione dei giovani artisti che unisce il MAXXI Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo e Bvlgari, e che negli anni ha lanciato tanti nuovi talenti sulla scena internazionale. Individuati tra una rosa di artisti presentati dai critici e curatori italiani Valentina Bruschi, Gaia Di Lorenzo, Eva Fabbris, Simone Frangi, Pier Paolo Pancotto, Gea Politi, Paola Ugolini ed Eugenio Viola, i finalisti sono stati scelti da una giuria internazionale – di cui fanno parte, a rotazione, curatori di grande prestigio e direttori delle principali istituzioni culturali di tutto il mondo – composta da Hoor Al Qasimi Presidente e Direttrice Sharjah Art Foundation Emirati Arabi Uniti, Chiara Parisi Direttrice Pompidou-Metz, Dirk Snauwaert Direttore WIELS Contemporary Art Centre di Bruxelles, con Hou Hanru Direttore Artistico MAXXI e Bartolomeo Pietromarchi Direttore MAXXI Arte. Le opere site-specific realizzate dai finalisti del premio saranno esposte a giugno 2022 al MAXXI in una mostra a cura di Giulia Ferracci. A ottobre 2022 la giuria valuterà i lavori presentati e nominerà il vincitore, la sui opera verrà acquisita dal museo. . . Alessandra Ferrini (Florence 1984), Silvia Rosi (Scandiano 1992) and Namsal Siedlecki (Greenfield USA 1986) are the finalists of the third edition of the MAXXI BVLGARI PRIZE, the project t bringing together MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Art and Bvlgari, that supports and promotes young artists and that in recent years has launched many new talents onto the international scene. Singled out among a group of artists presented by Italian critics and curators Valentina Bruschi, Gaia Di Lorenzo, Eva Fabbris, Simone Frangi, Pier Paolo Pancotto, Gea Politi, Paola Ugolini and Eugenio Viola, the finalists were chosen by an international jury – on a rotating basis, curators of great prestige and directors of the major cultural institutions around the world – including Hoor Al Qasimi President and Director of Sharjah Art Foundation in the United Arab Emirates, Chiara Parisi Director of the Pompidou-Metz, Dirk Snauwaert Director of the WIELS Contemporary Art Centre in Brussels, with Hou Hanru Artistic Director of MAXXI and Bartolomeo Pietromarchi Director of MAXXI Arte. The site-specific works made by the award finalists will be exhibited in June 2022 at MAXXI at an exhibition curated by Giulia Ferracci. In October 2022 the jury will evaluate the works presented and choose a winner, whose work will be acquired by the museum.
