Never A Dull Day

Port of Chinook had a cable snap on their port dredge . The boom sank to the bottom and buried the end in mud . We made 3 attempts to move the boom and dredge with no luck . I did manage to get them to let me try to raise the boom from the upper parking lot . This did work . I had them put a chain and one of my snatch blocks on the cradle that originally held the boom in place . It took a little pull to brake the suction loose and it came right up . They hooked a chain from the mast to the boom and it held the boom up out of the water . 3 hours and 30 minutes later I headed home
