Pikey Peak and Everest View Trek from Shivalaya

Lovely walk up from Shivalaya to Pikey Peak. Dawn (yep freezing cold) view of Everest with the full (February) moon and Jupiter setting and the sun rising Then back the other side of the horseshoe to the river and up and over to Shivalaya. With the lovely and intrepid Piyajan and his music (Nepathya). Allow ten days for old bags and maybe five for younger legs. Plenty of homestays and, once off the old Everest Base Camp route, off the beaten track. Bit of a challenge to pick out the tiny peak of Everest, especially in the freezing cold with the map about to fly off, but what the hec.
