Miniature Glock 17 Pistol

Completely scratch-built and handmade 1/5 scale, metal working miniature model, of the famous Glock 17 semi-automatic pistol, in a single shot 2mm pinfire version. This miniature is not an exact replica of the original pistol. I tried to be as faithful as possible to its profile and the external look but being this a miniature single shot gun, its action was modified to fire a 2mm pinfire cartridge. This is a underhammer firing mechanism that I have created specifically for this gun and I made a lot of research and trials to perfect it. That´s why I choose not to include any plans of the action on the video and it explains also why I´ve covered with a mask the details of the hammer and trigger. To my knowledge this is the only miniature 1/5 Glock 17, 2 mm pinfire, pistol ever made. The materials I used to make this miniature firearm were the following: -Duralumin: body, simulated slide and grips; -Cupronickel: hammer, trigger, safety lever, sights, magazine release button, extractor, screw, nut, and some of the rivets; -Brass: barrel; -Tempered steel: spring and some of the rivets. I used only simple hand tools (a mini vise, a jewellers saw, files, pliers, etc.) and a little electric drill to make this miniature gun. The 2mm pinfire cartridge shown in the video is a replica that I´ve made with brass tube and lead, and it has no powder or primer in it. Although my miniature guns are fully functional and capable of firing I don´t intend to fire any blank or live cartridges because they are for display purposes only.
