Cure Violence, 2014 HD

Cure Violence, is a film about Chicagoans who are committed to ending gun violence by Lincoln Schatz Studio. Traveling through the greater Chicago area, including those neighborhoods most plagued by violence, Schatz and his team interviewed violence interrupters, outreach workers, and community members including those from the Cure Violence network, an Illinois nonprofit dedicated to working with community and government partners to reduce violence. Cure Violence grew out of a chance meeting between Lincoln Schatz and Cure Violence Illinois Executive Director Dr. Gary Slutkin at Pop!Tech in Camden, ME.
