Stomp Dance Demonstration: Duck Creek Ceremonial Grounds

The Duck Creek Ceremonial Grounds is one of 16 ceremonial grounds of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. The Stomp Dance is a set of traditional dances brought across the Trail of Tears from the Muscogee (Creek) ancestral homelands in Georgia and Alabama. This demonstration is presented from the Muscogee (Creek) Nation festival at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington D.C. on November 16, 2012.
