HOW TO MAKE IODINE(element)

all you need is potassium iodide & sulfuric acid, Please use caution if you try this experiment,toxic amounts of hydrogen sulfide will be produced. I really do not recommend anybody to try this who is inexperienced. #1 make a saturated solution of potassium iodide #2 slowly add consentrated sulfuric acid.( dont let the solution get hot, put it in ice to bring it to room temprature). #3 after the reaction is complete wash the iodine crystals with lots of water untill pure as can be, #4 dry the crystals on paper towel then put into sealed container.
