Best Science Experiment Ever!!!!
This is the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide (Bleach)(H2O2) catalyzed by potassium iodide (KI) also known as elephants toothpaste. The O2 released along with water vapor is trapped by the detergent making foam. The reaction is very exothermic, the Peroxide is at 35% concentration, and the potassium iodide is in a saturated solution. That is me conducting the experiment in chemistry and that is my teacher in the background.
