This video was made by Form 3 students at Immaculate Conception school, Tarxien. The video shows the reaction between potassium iodide solution and lead (II) nitrate solution to form the yellow lead (II) iodide precipitate and potassium nitrate solution. The lead (II) iodide precipitate is recrystallized to obtain golden rain.
