KClO3 and Sugar Impact Tests (Potassium Chloraate + Sucrose + Hammer) HD

I did an experiment today to see if a finely ground up mixture of potassium chlorate and sugar will explode when hit with a hammer. The results that I found is that yes, it will explode, but only partially and only ~1/5 of the time. Compare that to KClO3 and Al in an impact test, which will fully explode every time.
