Flight Report | Vueling | Flying Low Cost | Lisbon - Amsterdam HD

This is my second Vueling flight report. Vueling is a low cost Spanish airline which also operates flights from Amsterdam Schiphol to various cities across Europe. My flight from Lisbon to Amsterdam was supposed to depart with a small delay due to late arrival of the aircraft in Lisbon. Eventually, we departed with a delay of more than an hour because of the strike of air traffic control in France. Despite the delay, the flight was OK and we had a surprisingly friendly cabin crew. The aircraft was a relatively new A320 and the cabin looked quite fresh. The problem with airlines like Vueling is that most passengers are traveling with carry-on luggage only which slows the boarding process. The overhead lockers were reserved for carry-on suitcases. So if you are traveling with a bag or backpack, you will have to place it under the seat in front of you. That is pretty inconvenient! As I mentioned, Vueling is a low cost airline and you have pay an extra charge for a window seat or seat reservation in general. I had one checked in bag and that cost me extra too. You also have to pay for food and drinks.
