"The Robert and Rosie Show"

Set sometime in the 1950s, "The Robert & Rosie Show" is a warmhearted homage to sitcoms of the era, like "I Love Lucy", "Life With Elizabeth", and "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show". Before Ricky loved Lucy and everybody loved Raymond, Milwaukee businessman Robert Hughes loved his doting wife, Rosie. The same holds true for their best friends, Charlie & Jan Johnson. When a power outage on double date night puts a kink in their television viewing plans, shenanigans ensue as the gang huddles together to wait it out. "The Robert & Rosie Show" is one of two original situation comedies produced during the 2012 Milwaukee Summer Entertainment Camp. The broadcast marked the first time scripted material was taped before a live studio audience in the state of Wisconsin by young adults. The majority of the cast and crew was comprised of teens who participated in the camp and had no prior experience in TV production. The camp was founded by Kyle C. Olson, a native of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who currently resides in Hollywood, CA and works in the television industry.
