Tesla AP1 commute: Cary to Durham, North Carolina HD
In this video, I venture to explore just how well autopilot (Tesla Model X HW1) may handle some of the typical commuting routes in our area (Research Triangle Park in North Carolina). When used as designed, it reduces stress and fatigue from your typical commute big time. Something to ponder: If (admittedly, a big if) you are okay to add a bit of extra time to your commute (Autopilot does most of the driving), and the house/apartment/etc. is cheaper there (but is of the same or better quality, of course), does that reduce the effective cost of your Tesla? -------------------------------------------------- You can follow https://www.tesla.com/referral/arkadiy5751 link to receive a $1,000 credit when you order a new Model S or Model X Full referral program details are published at https://www.tesla.com/support/referral-program All of the Model X and S cars from October 2016 have the hardware for full self-driving capability. Model 3 (the one starting at $35K and entering production later this year) will do as well. This means the new cars, produced today, are even more capable than the Model X in this video.
