The original XJ was the last Jaguar sedan to have the input of the company’s co founder, Sir William Lyons. The XJ is one of the cars used by the british royal family. In my opinion, this generation XJ is the last of the great jags, after this, they all got to techy for their own good, which isn’t entirely a bad thing, but sometimes can be over complicated. the series 1 ran from 1968 to 73, series 2 from 73 to 79, series 3 from 79 to 92, XJ40/X300/X308 from 1986 to 2003. this generation I’m filming from 2003 to 2009 and the current gen from 2009 to the present.
