POLINA is an adventure fantasy for the whole family. It follows a young girl - Polina - who sets out on a magical journey in search of the truth about her lost parents. Written and directed by an award-winning director Olias Barco ( Golden Award of Critics Week at Cannes IFF for POUBELLES, 1994, Grand-Prix of Rome IFF for KILL ME PLEASE, 2010), POLINA lists as the most ambitious Ukrainian family fantasy co-production in the country’s history. Clip features backstage video from making-of at FILM.UA studio (Kyiv, Ukraine). 11-year old Ukrainian actress Polina Pechenenko plays the title role, where she is joined by an international cast, including Virginie Ledoyen (THE BEACH, 8 WOMEN), Edouard Baer (ASTERIX AND OBELIX: GOD SAVE BRITANNIA), Saul Rubinek (UNFORGIVEN, TRUE ROMANCE, THE FAMILY MAN), Audrey Marnay (PARIS, THE MONUMENTS MEN, BUNKER PARADISE), Virgile Bramly (INCEPTION, MANDERLAY, POINT BLANK), Wim Willaert (WHEN THE SEA RISES, EX DRUMMER), and Daniel Cohen (LE CHEF, ALL THAT GLITTERS).
