The Banquet was held at the Hilton Hotel, and she was welcomed by protestors and Israeli supporters of President Trump. A Jewish supporter explained why she believed Omar was acting like the German Nazis. Two days before the event, more than 10,000 people signed an online petition to investigate Omar, Tlaib, and CAIR. The online petition is calling on the US attorney General William Barr to investigate CAIR’s alleged ties to Hamas, and how they helped Omar and Tlaib get elected into office.
