Planes at London City Airport - 28th April 2013 HD

London City Airport offers great opportunities for plane-spotters such as great overview of the ramps and runway which is free of any obstructions like trees or lamp posts. The only drawback (for videotaping) is that the area is widely open and the wind will be a loud problem for you, as seen (or heard) in this video :D In this video you can see various landings and takeoffs performed by aircraft such as Embrear 170, 190, Dornier Do 228, AvroJet RJ100 or Cessna Citation Jet. Videos were taken from the Royal Albert DLR station area. (Exit the station and head towards the river.) There is public footpath that goes along part of the runway offering great view of the airport airside action. For photography, 200mm lens will do just fine. :) (as you can see in the picture at the beginning of the video. Taken at 150mm focal length) Enjoy.
