BEEFING UP THE TIEGE TEAM | VLOG 192 For the first time in six months, Aaron is at Tiege Hanley’s HQ in Chicago, and everything has GROWN, from office space to warehouse space to the number of team members. TOUR DE TIEGE As Aaron strolls through the warehouse, he chats with Tom G the Warehouse Coordinator, Josh who handles influencer marketing, and Hector who handles warehouse prep. Seeing first-hand how the warehouse has expanded is jaw-dropping – added space plus massive racking system and inventory levels. Not only does Tiege Hanley now have distinct departments, but they also added a new office space which encompasses finance, development, and analytics. The main office is primarily the location for marketing, customer service as well as Kelley’s office. In the new office space, the graphics define the area. Meetings can be held in the ‘AM/PM’ conference room or perhaps the ‘SCRUB’ conference room. And one of the murals features the owners (in color) with many of you (in black & white) who helped to build the company. Aaron runs into Rob who discusses how he’s been looking forward to this quarterly meeting. Then he visits Dave the Supply Chain Manager who describes how his focus is making sure deliveries are on-time and accurate as well as product development. Tiege Hanley is the leader in accuracy with only 1 error out of 1,000. Additionally, Dave hinted that new product marketing should emerge by the end of 2019 with new product launches set for the beginning of 2020. Heading over to the main office, Akin the Director of Digital Marketing touches on his work with social media, SEO, conversion rates, paid search, and leads. He says that Tiege Hanley is ‘rocking’ and ‘killing’ SEO. Next is one of Tiege Hanley’s newest employees John who is their copywriter. As he put it, he touches and reads all forms of written word for Tiege Hanley. Heading further back into the main office, Aaron meets with Lawrence who is the Affiliate Marketing Manager, a fitness model, and affiliated with Bodybuilding.com. Claudia is the Customer Service Specialist, and she handles customer emails which the #1 question she gets asked is ‘where’s my order’. Employee #3 Tom is next up – he’s the Customer Service Supervisor. He helps draft customer support language, and he handles the Handsomeness Hotline calls. Thereafter, Aaron visits with Sarah who is the Executive Assistant to all the partners. She says that she always ‘stays two steps ahead’.
