The fifth incarnation is released simultaneously on the playstation 4 and the pc and you know what that means: time for another pc master race reality check PCMRRC Street Fighter 5 supports 4K resolutions natively and as long as you have the hardware power, it performs rather well even with sooo many pixels. The game always runs at a maximum framerate of 60, no more and no less. If your hardware can’t keep up - it will slow down the game in solo mode or skip the frames in online battles to keep everything synchronized. You should definitely try to get the game running at a solid 60 fps at all times, otherwise you will have obvious disadvantages during online matches. In order to get a smooth framerate the game offers some adjustments you can set at four levels. We found that the biggest graphical differences are only visible on the lowest setting. Here textures are very blurry and shadows are extremely pixelated. Between the upper three detail settings there are only very minor differences particularly concerning motion blur. On our test system the game ran at a solid 60 fps in UHD/4K on high details. In terms of controls the choice is easy. Go for an arcade stick. They games deserves it and you deserve it too. Here we are playing with a Playstation-3-Stick for Street Fighter 4, which can be used through an adapter like the chronusmax. The Xbox variants are supported directly in the game, as are the ps4 and xbox gamepads. Capcom even delivers a profile for the Steam Controller and we were positively surprised at how well we were able to pull of the special moves with it. We still would not recommend it really, as haptics are almost non existent on the left touchpad, but it IS playable. Even better than with an old 360 pad and its’ horrific directional buttons. Next we wanted to see how the game performed on our secondary system. After installing the game we were shocked to see that our save game did not sync. That is rather peculiar for a game that relies so heavily on being online even for unlocking stuff in solo play. On our 144Hz FreeSync monitor the game is displayed in between 60 and 100Hz but always at 60 fps. Disabling FreeSync manually locked the Hertz to a maximum of 100 according
