Special Tribute To Legendary Blues Artist Jeff Healey

27.03.2015
If you were around during the 1980’s and 1990’s there was a young blind Canadian jazz and Blues-Rock vocalist/guitarist who rose to superstardom from the success of an album called “See the Light” (Arista Records, 1988) & a little movie call Road House (staring Patrick Swayze) where he was the band leader for the house band. That artist’s name is Jeff Healey. With hits such as “Angel Eyes”(See the Light album) and the cover of The Beatles Song “While My Guitar Gently Weeps, music was what brought Jeff to the dance to be able to leave a mark on this world for the general public, however there was so much more to this man besides being known as a blind guitar player. He was a humanitarian, father, son, full of laughter, avid music collector, cancer survivor. In 41 short years on this earth, Jeff Healey certainly left his mark, so here on what would have been his 49th birthday, we are releasing part 1 of our special about Jeff so the general public can hear from Crazy Train Radio & some of the people who knew Jeff on a personal & professional level. Feel free to visit www.jeffhealey.com or check out a charity close to his & his families lives called Daisy’s Eye Cancer Fund at http://www.daisyfund.org/usa/
