LMS Stanier Magic on Day 5 of the Great Britain XIV tour with 46115 and 45690 at the helm 26/4/22. HD
After a two year wait due to Covid the Great Britain railtour would finally take place and Day Five of The Great Britain XIV would see LMS 46115 Scots Guardsman take the tour from Stirling to Carlisle over Beattock .We first see 46115 at Crawford going like the clappers. We then move onto Lockerbie as 46115 departs the loop heading for Carlisle and with 46115 stopping at Quintinshill loop we managed a final shot as the Scot departed for Carlise . 45690 Leander would take over from Guardsman at Carlisle and take the train down the Cumbrian Coast to Grange over Sands and is seen early doors heading for Carlisle near Hincaster and on the climb up Dalton bank at Dalton Junction and Dalton Station. Thanks to Nige for the lift this after afternoon .Apologies for the strange clicking sounds at Lockerbie on the video as something was interfering with the externa mic which is probably the electric fence nearby ☹️
