Milk Packet Testing at Home

We strive hard for empowerment of consumers. We have taken up a mission for Pure Milk since June 2014. We hold ‘Milk Testing and Awareness Camps’ in different localities where people come with their milk samples. We test the samples in four ways- · We check the pouch of branded milk- we check the seal and see whether the label is perfect and abides to labeling standards. · We check the density of milk sample using standard lactometer. · We have bought DSK Milk Analyser. We analyse the milk sample and get the details like percentage of fat, SNF, Protein, water, etc. · We also have bought NDDB Reagent kit. Using those reagents we try to find out if the milk sample contains any adulterant like starch, sugar, neutralizer, urea, fertilizer, etc.
