It has a realistic movement that mimics the feel of a firearm. The all-metal slide even locks open when the 40XP runs out of steel BBs. It holds a capacity of 20 rounds. The valve system that operates the slide efficiently distributes the CO2 that powers the action pistol. It also propels a steel BB at up to 400 feet per second. The magazine release is in the traditional thumb release location, just behind the trigger guard at the top of the grip.
