The Ladies of Jazz single features 14 of the Twin Cities premier female vocalists; Mary Jane Alm, Jamecia Bennett, Aimee Bryant, Debbie Duncan, Aimee Fischer, Cynthia Johnson, Kathleen Johnson, Timotha Lanae, Gwen Matthews, Charmin Michelle, Patty Peterson, Thomasina Petrus, Jodie Sellers, and Jearlyn Steele. It is the first project of MN Artists for Youth in the Arts (MAYA). MAYA is an organization founded by Timotha Lanae, Gwen Matthews, and Ben Obi to enrich, educate and encourage youth in the arts.
