Earnest Humming ways - Kiratha Vritham (poem) - Birenjith S HD

12.01.2015
"Sing high, listen sober" This is a forum to encourage unsung talents; a poet in you, a singer in you. Mudra 2015 is fast approaching and we celebrate Malayalam poetry on this occasion. A few lines from the poem Kiratha Vritham (Story of the forest dweller) by Kadammanitta Ramakrishnan- Where I had sown the seeds of my dreams, Where is that lightning sky? Where my herbs would flutter in green, Where are those wet evenings? Where the crickets would hop around, Where did those grasslands go? Wearing the anklets of forest winds, Bangles of the river, When my ladies would dance- Under the shade of the tree by the brook. Drunk with a sip of wine filling my cup, Sitting under that tree, And tapping in rhythm, Where is that man in me now? ---------------------------------------------
