How to Hang Christmas Lights with Slingshot into Tree HD

Our neighborhood strings Christmas Lights from the tall limbs of our trees. This video shows how we get the lights up into the trees. You use a 16 oz weight tied to a string, then slingshot the weight up and over a limb. You then tie off fishing line to the weight, and pull the weight and fishing line back over the limb. Disconnect the fishing line from the weight and attach to the "female" end of the strand of Christmas light. Pull up the other end of fishing line until lights are hanging off the ground and tie fishing line to a nearby tree. Then plug lights into extension cord. When taking down after the holidays, it is very easy, you just cut the fishing line at the tree you tied off too, and they fall straight down.
