Sayri i sang an english cover of yasashii suisei by YOASOBI, the full BEASTARS season 2 ending! ☄️ this gentle comet’s tender, gold light… i absolutely fell in love with yasashii suisei the moment i heard it — it’s such a tender, gorgeous song that really pulls at the heartstrings in all the best ways. in the FIRST TAKE video for this song, ikura mentions that it’s about two people from different situations nurturing a beautiful friendship in a cruel world, and that really shines through. it’s no secret that i adore YOASOBI, and like i said when i covered kaibutsu, it’s so exciting to see their work on BEASTARS, especially since this song is such a lovely tribute to ibuki and louis. ever since its release, yasashii suisei has become a song that comforts me.
