The Art Students League of New York hosted musican Dr. Michael White as he discussed and improvised jazz with painting instructor Timothy J. Clark. New Orleans clarinetist Dr. Michael White demonstrates how the expressive elements of music and painting meet in the elusive area known as creativity. Dr. White’s music has moved American presidents and New York audiences from the Village Vanguard to Lincoln Center. For over twenty years Dr. White has collaborated with League instructor Timothy J. Clark on the crossover of music and painting.
