Sponsored by Zakat Foundation of America It was narrated from Abu Mas’ud that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever recites the last two Verses of Surat Al-Baqarah at night, that will be sufficient for him.” [Bukhari & Muslim] Scholars have said that the meaning of ‘sufficient for him’ is that they are sufficient for him instead of night prayer; it was also said: sufficient as protection from the devil, and it was further said: sufficient as protection from calamities; or possibly all those meanings put together.
