Takbir Eid-ul Fitr "allahu akbar allahu akbar la ilaha illallah wallahu akbar allahu akbar wa lillahi al hamd" تكبير يدل فطر "الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله الله والله أكبر الله أكبر و لله أل حامد" Takbeer of Eid ul adha (Eid ul fitr) Assalaamu Alaykum Takbeer of Dhul-Hijjah is prescribed from the beginning of the month. It is Sunnah to recite takbeer at any time during the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah and all the days of Tashreeq, starting from the beginning of the month of Dhul-Hijjah (i.e., from sunset on the last day of Dhul-Q3adah) until the end of the days of al-Tashreeq, which is when the sun sets on the thirteenth day of Dhul-Hijjah). Ibn 3Umar and Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with them both) used to go out to the market-place on first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, reciting Takbeer, and the people used to recite Takbeer because of their Takbeer. Revive this Sunnah by doing audible takbeer during all of the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
