Bruce Valley Ghost Town HD

Day 2, ride #1, early morning July 9, 2012 we drove up the Bruce Creek Valley in search of an old abandon mining settlement. When I say old, I mean old. This place was probably built 100 yrs ago. Not sure when it was abandoned, but there were still good remains of a few buildings, all of which here log. We also found someones new cabin close by. Our plan was to try and follow the trail that runs along the valley floor, but the creek was running too strong & we were chicken to cross it so we took the upper road that runs along the south side about 1/2 to 3/4 the way up the mountain range. Unfortunately, we were not able to get to the end because the higher we got, the more snow we ran into.
