BLENDERSUSHI / SV Swimming Lines (LIVENODING204) HD

22.12.2016
In this episode, I am doing a breakdown of this classic swimming lines effect like you might see on audio visualization using Sverchok Add-On in Blender. It looks simple at a glance, but to recreate this effect faithfully, we will need a multiple layers of complexity. I think the most interesting part is how to create multiple array of lines that swims and repeats over time. The rest is pretty easy, we just need to project the swimming lines into a moving displaced surface. If you are a gamer, I often call this effect the Pacman effect where we can go to the end boundary and suddenly pop to the other boundary edge. Hence creates unlimited loop for the moving object. Lines in this case. You will find that this can be the basis for many more complex effects.
