Deer herd on Orr Road - Mississauga

An unbelievable sight - A herd of deer on the north boundary of the Petro-Canada Refinery. Combining photos and two videos, I was able to count 23 deer. Incredible how well they blend into the landscape. Protected here by a fence, they roam across Rattray Marsh and up into the Credit Valley Conservation lands that run through Lorne Parks ravines and connect through to the Credit River on the east and who knows how far to the west. Never thought I would see so many in one place. These are wild, not part of a zoo or game preserve... This is also heavily developed residential territory, who could imagine so many... never mind that there must be hundreds to see a group like this! Amazing!! Taken on my BB Torch
