Species Spotlight Season 2 - The Coral Beauty Angel - Episode 11 HD

18.03.2016
A fan favorite dwarf angel for several good reasons: they are hardy, brilliantly colored, and inexpensive. They are typically less aggressive than other dwarf angels and less likely to pick at corals. The Centropyge bispinosa is not 100% reef-safe but only 2 out to of 10 individuals will occasionally pick on corals or clams. My favorite thing about these fish is the blue “lightning bolt” coloration that runs through the fins. The Coral Beauty Angel maxes out at 3.9 inches and requires at least a 25 gallon tank with plenty of live rock for picking at. This is a peaceful easy care level reef-caution fish.
