Schematics and pictures: http://kaizerpowerelectronics.dk/tesla-coils/kaizer-drsstc-iv/ Latest update with all information and measurements: https://highvoltageforum.net/index.php?topic=24.msg112#msg112 Secondary circuit measured to (placed in primary, but primary circuit open loop): Unloaded: 101 kHz, 80 cm spark simulated with wire: 91 kHz and 80 cm spark with branches simulated with wire: 88 kHz 4 different tests where primary circuit was tapped at previously measured tapping points, also measured with secondary in place(ungrounded). There is very little difference in spark length and performance even with large changes to primary resonant frequency. Best results was with primary tuned to 65 kHz, as low as it can be tuned for now, and that is way below where it should perform compared to the secondary coil measurements. QCW, high Z coils and long on-times are not so easy to tune as a regular DRSSTC.
