US is testing a game changing Semi-autonomous air bomb.

Tests began in June in the United States, According to the American publication. By the end of 2020 Tests GBU-53/B StormBreaker will be completed. The weapons will first be presented by the F/A-18E /F Super Hornet and F-15E Eagle fighters, and then the F-35 Lightning II, and will be able to carry up to 24 units of the GBU-53/B StormBreaker. The magazine writes that the GBU-53 / B StormBreaker is effective of independently selecting targets and allows course correction by a carrier aircraft. Management swarm GBU-53 / B StormBreaker can take place in the structure of the Golden Horde program in particular ,the use of artificial intelligence. The publication notes that a swarm of such bombs should be assigned to weapons of mass destruction. In March, the US Air Force at the Air Warfare Symposium 2020 event in Orlando, Florida, showed an animation of a strike against an opponent of the promising Golden Horde system, using artificial intelligence and communications. The am GBU-53 / B StormBreaker bomb can destroy targets up to 110 kilometers away. A feature of the weapon is the three-mode system, which includes an infrared sensor,, which allows to hit moving targets, as well as the possibility of use in any weather conditions.
