A short demonstration to show you how to watch videos on your Playstation 3 (PS3) via a USB storage device. Please note that the PS3 is only able to play the following video formats: Memory Stick Video Format - MPEG-4 SP (AAC LC), H.264/MPEG-4 AVC High Profile, (AAC LC), MPEG-2 TS (H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, AAC LC). If you experience problems watching the video try converting the file to one of the above file formats using a program like VLC or handbrake. Your USB thumb drive or External hard drive must be formatted using Fat 32 in order for you to watch videos on your PS3. Please note that MS Windows will not format an external hard drive or thumb drive beyond 32Gb.
